Know what to lift next.
BrawnBar logs your meals, sets, water and sleep — then works out your next session from your own history.
No card, no trial. This build sets you up on this device — your log stays here until you connect your own account.
How it works
You log it. It works out your next session.
Real app UI · sample data.
Nutrition
Log it the way you'd say it.
- USDA FoodData Central, plus your own saved foods
- Photo analysis and plain-language logging on your key
- Per-meal and per-day totals, with water alongside
Training
It decides your next set.
Double progression
Reps first, weight second — 2.5 kg steps on compounds.
Plateau detection
Three weeks with no new estimated 1RM gets flagged, with a reason.
Scheduled deloads
Three of your last four weeks above 115% of baseline triggers a deload at 40% volume.
Progress
The trend, not the day.
- Calorie and macro charts against your own targets
- Weight trend and estimated 1RM curves per lift
- A weekly review assembled from your own logs
The rest of the week
Same free build, every screen.
The small daily things live next to the training log instead of in a second app — every route included, nothing held back for a plan.
Habits & routines
Streaks for habits you're building and breaking.
Goals, XP and levels
Targets, XP and achievements on the same logs.
Water, sleep, steps, fasting
Daily counters, fasting windows, caffeine.
Body, meds, supplements
Weight, measurements, blood pressure, meds.
Recipes & meal plans
Save recipes, plan the week, log a plan in one tap.
Calculators
TDEE, BMI, macro splits, one-rep-max tools.
Community & challenges
Needs an account server — off in this build.
Separate family profiles
One device, several profiles, each with its own history.
Export, import, backup
JSON or CSV out, JSON back in, plus a backup.
Integrations (demonstration)
Simulated in this build — nothing syncs to another service.
How it's built
Your rows never leave the device.
Not a sentence in a policy page — where the bytes actually go.
Your log never leaves the device
Meals, workouts, water, sleep and habits are written to this browser's own storage.
No account, so no server to leak
This build has no account server attached, so there is no remote copy of your log.
Export or erase, on demand
Export every row as JSON or CSV, or delete this device's copy. Both implemented.
The AI key is yours
The coach and photo analysis run on a key you supply.
third-party scripts, ad pixels or consent banners. Nothing to opt out of, no dialog to dismiss.
- Analytics
- A counter in your own browser storage. No events leave the device.
- Your log
- Written to this browser's storage. Nothing is uploaded.
- AI requests
- Only when you ask, straight to the provider you configured.
- Food lookups
- USDA FoodData Central — only when you search, and never carrying your log.
Free forever
Everything free. No asterisk.
A tracker that costs nothing is normally paid for one of four ways. Here is exactly which of the four this one is not.
- A subscription before the features you came for
- $0
All 44 routes are in the free build — nothing behind a paywall, no trial.
- Banner and interstitial ads inside your food log
- 0 ad networks
No third-party scripts, no ad pixels, no consent banner.
- Your health data sold or shared to offset the price
- Never sent
No server, no account, no upload — the log stays on your device.
- Paying to export the data you typed in yourself
- JSON + CSV
One export from Settings gives you your whole history.
Fair questions
The things people ask before they trust a free tracker.
Answered with the same numbers as the rest of this page — including the awkward one about who is behind it.
Is it really free, or free until I log enough meals?
Really free. No trial, no paid version of the app, no feature that unlocks later. All 44 routes are in the free build — nutrition, training, habits, analytics, export, the lot. There is no other version of this app.
So what's the catch?
The catch is the one thing that is stated plainly rather than hidden: this deployment has no account server attached. So your log lives in this browser, and the three screens that genuinely need a server — community, the photo gallery and the AI coach — are off. Everything else is the real app: log meals, workouts, water, sleep and habits, read the charts, write a weekly review, export it all.
Do I have to bring my own AI key?
Yes, and that is the honest answer. There is no key bundled with this build and no shared key pool behind it, so the coach and photo analysis need one you supply. A free NVIDIA NIM key takes about a minute to get; add it in Settings and it is stored in your own settings row. If you would rather run on your own OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic or OpenRouter key, that works too. This deployment has no account server attached, so the key cannot be saved here yet — the coach says so rather than pretending to answer.
Who can see my food log?
In this build, nobody — and nothing is sent anywhere. The log is written to this browser's own storage. If you point the app at your own Supabase project, every table is locked to your account by row-level security and the check runs in the database, before a row is returned.
What happens if I stop using it?
You take your data with you, or you destroy it: one click exports every row as JSON or CSV, one click erases this device's copy. Both are implemented, not promised.
Does it work offline?
Yes for the part that matters. BrawnBar installs to your home screen, and this deployment keeps your profile, meals, workouts and daily trackers on the device — so those read and write with no connection at all. Nothing is queued to send later, because there is no server to send it to. The screens that need the account server — community, the photo gallery, the AI coach — do need one.
Is this a real company?
No. BrawnBar is built and maintained by one developer, Adeshpreet Singh. The app is real, the code is real, and the free tier is real — but there is no company, no team and no funding behind it.
Is any of this medical advice?
No. BrawnBar records what you log and works out averages, trends and estimated one-rep maxes from it. It is a tracking tool, not a medical service — for anything clinical, talk to a professional.

BrawnBar is free, forever
No subscriptions, no paywalls, no investor pressure. Your support goes to running costs and API access — it does not unlock anything, because nothing here is locked.
